This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
@Damo: Well when I click on it to sign it in, it takes a while to load and then a message appears saying "click troubleshoot and we'll repair the problem" Doesn't tell me what the problem is after.
Well, if you want to know more then I'll be available through PM or MSN, whichever is best for you. Rather not go further into on the SB of all places. =P
Finally another wall from me ^^ It is dedicated to RainofStars for his Birthday!
I didn't spend much time on my previous wall because of the rush for a contest so the sky didn't turn out good. So I decided to make another one where the sky was better. The water and the mountains were made in Terregan and the rest was made in photoshop. I also added a stock photo as a balcony fence theingy. I chose that stock photo because I really liked the flowery design between the pillar and the horizontal part of the balcony. I also added colour and texture to make the balcony fence have a texture almost like marble.

I followed some of the suggestions that were left in the comments and changed some things around. Some of the things I changed were:
-re-extracted the girl
-changed the text a little(removed brackets)
-added perspective to the balcony railing and mountain
-adjusted space background to fit better with the character
Beautiful wall indeed. I really love the night/planet color schemes here, and the contrasts with the sea green. The bridge is a nice add as well, oddly enough, it fits right in with the scheme of the wall, and even enhances the character standing in front of it. Text fits the theme as well as the overall feel of the wall, I really like it. Excellent work, and adding to favorites.
I really like the green, it goes well with the scan. Love the detail with the sky and the arches. It is a bit dreamlike/random so I can see why the title is entropy (lol, chemistry!). Anyways, awesome job!
Hey i really like this wallpaper!! hehe especially the green and wind effects you put on the feather and the whole wallpaper ^^ great job!
keep it up ^^ and c you around!

Nice wallpaper. especialy the background and adding to that is a beautiful girl posting there although the girl face look very familiar. haha. nice wallpaper
Nice. I'm loving the digital green...it's makes everything look brighter and more futuristic. Nicely put together overall. The background with the planets is really beautiful. Good job :)
I really love the green complexion of the wally and the various tones of green.. such a warm colour.. but i dont know.. for some reason i feel the bg is very congested.. teh concept is nice and all.. but there are alternate ways in composing it.. meh.. also.. the text.. im not much for it but.. i think the dream will be better off without the square brackets.. anyhow very nice wall.
Very nice work . . . i like all that green in the background make more beautiful . . . i like the planets and the effects are very good . . . :D The girl is so beautiful too. Keep up the good work and thenk you very much for sharing it. :D
I hope to see more of you in the future. :D
Haha, everytime I see her, she so reminds me of Rinoa from FFVi.
Anyway, to the wall!
Looks spectacular. I love the space feeling and coloring you've done. The fence, kinda looks like a bridge, brings a nice touch to the wall, and stands out in a good way.
Yay!
