Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

This is my first completed wall and I finished it a couple weeks ago but never got around to uploading it.

Chidori and Sagara were vectored from a screenshot I took of Fumoffu's opening. I vectored and added the seagul to it later just because I though it would look nice. I also make the background from scratch, smuding the clouds and using various gradients for the sky.

When I took the screenshot and enlarged it, Sousuke's face came out very blurry so I had to improvise and I don't really like how it turned out, but it was the best I could do.

I took me at least 9 hours, mainly because I was learning how to vector while making this wall; and at one point I got up to 70 something layers which killed my PC.

I know I could have made the background more interesting, but I wanted to keep the focus on Chidori and Sousuke.

and...yeah...

Wow, a nice vector indeed, I really like the background, though, I think it suits the setting and the mood of the wall quite nicely.. and 70 layers *whistles* Well worth the effort in my eyes. Well done :)

Lovely wall . . . Gives a summer sense . . . and here we have winter and it is snow. Brr! lol! . . . Anyway, really like the images you have use and i don't think that a more 'interesting ' background it will be nice idea . . . i think it is perfect the way it is . . . well, keep up the good work and thank you for sharing it. :D

I hope to see more of you in the future. :D

I think its a great wall paper...but there's one thing, and im not sure if its my moniter having problems, but the big water droplet by Chidori's chin kinda makes her face really long. But i think its just my computer acting up again...Great wall. ^__^

Fumoffu! I like the wall and I can tell that quite a bit of work into it.
I'm impressed that you went up to 70 layers for the work. Your Souske looks fine.

Also about the seagull, I don't think you need it for the wall. But what would be even better would be a flock of them farther back in the bg.

YES!!! Finally a good wallpaper of Chidori. xD I couldn't be any happier today. I love Full Metal Panic! It is got to be one of my most favorite animes.I have been waiting so long for a good wallpaper with Chidori in it and here it is. Thank you so much! xD +FAVE

Nice job. I think Sagara's face turned out well--I wouldn't know that you had to fiddle with it if you hadn't said anything. I agree with hihenkihen about the droplet on Chidori's face...not the best placement, but doesn't really detract that much from the overall quality. Also, I think the seagull is a nice touch.

Hell of alot better then my first vector...

Decent wallpaper, I like the "mist" that you have on it, One suggestion though, make your signiture less obtrusive (Remove the faded white border)

Really good use of this screenshot! I love the opening to fumoffu, especially the music. When I see your wallpaper I can just hear the song playing. It makes me happy. Good job!! I'm faving it. :D
