Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

More than six months - not walling.. x_x
it's been like ... a torture .. well, sort of..
Somehow I got a bit of a spare time now, and here it is, my newest work, fresh from PS.
This is one of my simpler works,.. tho, originally, I want to add color to the whole background, but I couldn't find a nice match, so I let it be that way. It turned out nicely IMO,... because maybe the B/W bg contrasting a lot with the characters.. I hope you like this 'unusual' presentation.

Rilly sorry for 4:3 screen ratio users, because for this particular wall I made it in 1280x1024 (LCD) res only. >_< Gomen~

but...

1) can't you just color the rings? to make it more realistic? cause having it all white/black is...
2) more lighting?

shall i do one of my usual critiques? xD cause i know you can take em.
i havn't seen fafner, but the feeling the wall gives me makes me wanna. i love how you kept only the scan in color. and how the background is all graytoned. that way, it blends in, but stands out, so you don't miss it and whats exactly happening for even a second. id on't have any real comlaints like i usually do, but a few suggestions, which i would actually have to see them done myself to know if they would work. maybe make the clouds towards the top just a little darker, and have it really push out the contrast in the background. same with some spots in the mountains, and a couple nicks of it in the water. i say that probably because my storyboarding professor all semester kept going..."DARKER DARKS!"

Wow! that is one great wall there! i really love this one! it gives a strong feeling and it really does look good with the bg not in color. i'm really lovin the bg with the clounds and mountain. the characters expression makes you really think of what's happening like a scene or something (even though i've never seen it, just the first ep) so that's very cool! luve, great work and fave+ :)

Excellent job on the wall. It totally depicts the feeling of it, the background colours tell loads about the series and the looks of the chartacters gives the deep down feeling of............ (I can't describe) . :)
