These are my online manga's original characters Hatsuyo (guy) and Chione (girl).
This is the September picture for a calendar I'm printing but I actually thought it was nice enough to be used as a wallpaper (heck I made it my own wallpaper). CGed in Painter and Photoshop.

In thumbnail i was trying to figure out what anime they were from, which gives an ideal about how welldrawn it is. It's cute and fun and for some reason I love his red shirt, nice job!

Overall, it looks good. They wear shiny clothes. Details that need work:
Leaves on pavement hurt the illusion of perspective there.
Horizon is too flat. And Horizon lines goes through tree.
The noise for grass needs blur to add to the perspective effect.

Original art? That's awesome! I thought it was of a real anime at first when I saw the thumbnail...great job ^^

The coloring is awesome, the characters and their expressions are cute, and the scenery background is nice and reasonably detailed. The bench shape and shadows are a bit strange, but those are just small flaws that can be overlooked since you did such a great job on the rest of this wall ^_~
