This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Update: Added more shadows to this after a useful comment on Minitokyo. Also added it to Cibo's Anime Wallpaper Contest for Christmas. Probably won't get very far, but please add suggestions on how to improve it. If you like it, fave it! Thanks!
Ah, I love artwork from Visual Key. I loved Air and I can't wait to start watching Kanon...
Thought this was a nice scene for a winter wallpaper. The background was taken from a Kanon artbook which had loads of different locations from the anime. Here, as you can see, there is a snow-covered forest. I tried loads of scans with this wallpaper, but this one seemed to fit perfectly. Nothing like a perfect match to get rid of a wallpaper block I've had for quite a while.
This is really sweet heart warming (winter :P) Wall, i like the set and the peacefull feeling this wall is creating, Thou it take's place at winter time, seeing those two makes my forget allbout it, all i have eyes for is for those two. This one is tattaly gonna be Dl-d and fav made of (y)
When game, very it was a impressed scene. In the rear piece the place of promise it uses more it is impressed like this with background. Truth it made well, ^^
This is a very sweet wallpaper. Right when I looked at it I smiled, and got the chills, as i often so with pictures of snow. This is great one to use during the inter months. Good Job!
Just watched finish the anime, very nice, and so is your wallpaper.
the snow and the forest background is just so nice, wish that it appered in the anime.well done, nice work!
Wow, nice work on the lighting, it's really well done, helps set a certain mood into the picture and bring it out more realisticly. Also a nice detailed background too, i dont like scenery filled with nothing but white snow, makes it look dull and boring. Good control on the amount of snow you chose to drift down onto the picture too, there isnt so much that you cant see wat's going on behind it and so few that you hardly noticed it. So great work!
