Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Update: Added more shadows to this after a useful comment on Minitokyo. Also added it to Cibo's Anime Wallpaper Contest for Christmas. Probably won't get very far, but please add suggestions on how to improve it. If you like it, fave it! Thanks!

Thought this was a nice scene for a winter wallpaper. The background was taken from a Kanon artbook which had loads of different locations from the anime. Here, as you can see, there is a snow-covered forest. I tried loads of scans with this wallpaper, but this one seemed to fit perfectly. Nothing like a perfect match to get rid of a wallpaper block I've had for quite a while.

I like the backgound... I like the scenery of winter... the falling snow.. and the trees... I like them all. this is beautiful, the bg is so wonderfully colored and the mood is so nice and beautifull the snow background is very very nice

When the Kyoto animation version is got used to seeing, the former work is not at all the one ... seen. (^^)
It was too abnormal at the collapse of that drawing.
If Kanon is seen, the animated cartoon industry in recent Japan becomes a nature of still safe though is feared the decrease in drawing, too.

Like many Kanon (and especially Nayuki) fans, I think this is a really well-done wallpaper because you managed to use the CG out of context and still convey something with it. I think you made it a bit cheerier, in a way. Great work.
