Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Chibi! Another Saint Seiya wall ^^. Just love this scan by ALxDESIGN :P.
Well well... some description:
I've started with the temple. I've start with a greek's temple's photo, but in the end i've redrawn it. The upper part of the temple is a vector from the photo, the other parts are just me + pen tool + some ideas by a friend of mine (The "Desirio" in the sign ^^). I've tried to give to the temple a more "chibi" look to fit this FANTASTIC scan ^^.
The temple took me about 8 hours, yesterday afternoon from 2 pm to 10 pm (without shadow). Then i've designed a sketch of the background and i've placed the chibi characters, just to give me the full view of the wall. Then i've refined the background (pen tool + me ^^) and i've add the shadow on the temple. The last thing were the chibi's shadows (really simple and not realistic to fit the cute cartoonish style ^^).
I've finished now, with some adjustment :P

The temple is VERY nice and detailed and just well-made. You did an absolutely awesome job with that. I still can't get over how cute the scans are, hehe.
I think you could've added some clouds in the blue background and perhaps do better with the grass, though. Other than that, I really enjoy this wall. Great job ^_~
