Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
This wallpaper was a bit of a conundrum for me at first. I knew I wanted to use this scan to make a wallpaper (my heart-felt thanks to ~nona, the member who provided this wonderful scan, by the way), but how to do that without cutting up the scene any, which I did not want to do, was a problem. Finally in occurred to me that the position of Tiara's arms really did lend itself to her calling on a magic flare of energy of some kind. From there it was a pretty straight forward thought leap to change the colors to twilight so that the conjured light magics would look more appropriate to the scene. "Illumination" seemed the natural choice for the title.
Awesome idea and great wallpaper. The only thing that I think could have been done better is the quality of the whole wallpaper (the surface of the background in particular). On the other hand I really like the effect you used and the scan itself. Also it is quite good that you kept the scenary - and of course the title fits the wall :P Well done!
Wonderful wallpaper! I love all the fairies swarming around her, and it looks like she is summoning them with the ball of light between her hands. Plus the background to it works perfectly with the characters. I love it It's going in my favs! ^w^

Wow...what a lovely wallie. The girl looks beautiful and cheerful. ehehe...eventhough I can give a comment about the girl, but I can't she her face clearly. It's to bright. The land across the river looks so real so I like it. O yea...talk about the river, I also like the river, it looks like real too. Last, I want to say ifvthe fairies also look cute^0^ yaii...I like this wall. Nice wall! Good job!

2 suggestions... the light flare between her hands really bleaches her out. I think it would've been better if the flare was more controlled and further from her face. Also.. the colors of the wall is kinda muted... I guess I always prefered more saturation
