Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Well...this is my second wall...and i spend bout 4 hours to make it :)
i would like to make a chen shu fen wall for a long time but i'm not used to photoshop yet...:)
anyway, i like the scan the most and also the font there...:)
hope it is a good piece of wall and comments are welcome!
hope you guys will like it...XD
You surely dont see walls such as this everyday anymore! The design is simply gorgeous! The extraction is great for this scan. It must have been terribly hard! The layout and the streets lined with homes are perfect to match this scan! The lovely dark shades give a sober rainy effect perfect for the scheme of it all! Keep up the good work :D!
Yah, too bad the scan doesn't blend better into the background, otherwise this would be a gorgeous wall... :P I think getting rid of some of the white bits around the scan might help, especially around her hair... eraser set at low opacity around edges may help :)
It reminds me of one of those lame calender pictures you get from asian markets where a photo of some celebraty is shautly super-imposed on a pretty background. But this is good. The whole scan not exactly blending with the background adds a certain charm to the picture. Nice work.
I like the wallpaper, but I agree that the scan looks really out of place, primarily because of the brightness in comparison to the background. Some fiddling with the brightness and levels would fix this up pretty quickly, along with the eraser tip flyindreams said before. I think making it fit in would make it more appealing, but that could be just me.
The scan looks gorgeous and so does the background...too bad the two doesn't blend very well...I suggest changing the tint on the scan and doing something with soften/contrast/shadow to blend it in better...but great job overall, especially with the background!
Nice wallpaper... but the render seems to float on the background... adding a little shadow would do the trick, *i think, im not sure*... but its a good render... good job... :)

This is a very gorgeous wall overall. however, the scan can use some major retouches especially the hair part. but this is an overall good stuff for me.
