Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Wow. I think this is the longst I've ever spent on a wallpaper. Mostly because the coloring from the original black and white manga scan took forever to get all the details.
I'm not a fan of text on any wallpaper, but this one, I tried brushes there because I knew I wanted something there. In the end, I tried text for a few seconds just to see how it would look, and I loved how it complimented it better than any brush had.
Made in Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0. The original manga scan was never resized, it was scanned the perfect size. Though it was cleaned up a little, mostly because I didn't like all the white specks on the gun barrel. Done with just layers and the default Photoshop brush list. Except the chain, that I used a Default Photoshop pattern for, and I'm overall rather happy with the effect it created.
It's graced my own desktop for a while now, and I still don't want to change it. (Oh. My. God. She changed her Rent desktop!) I'm very proud of how it turned out.
Not bad,even for a manga scan.My only complaint is the chain you colored using a pattern,correct? Thats the only thing that stands out from the original scan.But if you're ok with that idea,then I have nothing more to say.
~wah!~ it's Haine! i love dogs and this wall looks great to me! it's a bit simple but fantastic! hmm...the chain sticks out a little and the colors could use a little work, but that's ok! anywho, great job and thanks a bunch cuz i've been waiting for another dogs wall. i love it and fav+ :)

A cool concept, but the character image looks really pixelated and the text (while looking pretty cool), would be completely buried by the Window's taskbar.
Looks good . . . a little simple but still looks good to me . . . The text it looks to me a little strange cause only the half is is show . . . and the color at the chain it is a little strange . . . but hey, this is onlymy opinion . . . anyway, it is a good work and thank you very much for sharing with us. :D
Perfect composition, I just love the way it's built into the background like that. The only thing that bothers me here is the chain as mentioned before.. I think it would look a lot better as a solid gray. But other than that, just amazing. Keep up the great work!
Wowies, awesome wallpaper! Haine is an awesome character nice work on the scan. It's a simple background yet the colouring of Haine is very nicely done. I like how the fonts get cut off at the end of the wallpaper. There's a few parts of the lines that look a little rough but overall it's really awesome. Keep up with the great work!
Amazing! A DOGS WALLPAPER!! Nice work! I love the whole angle and the font was nicely placed...nice design, very simple and minimalistic, yet still attractive!

I really like this one but I feel as if there's too much empty space. The image and the position of the text are awesome but it think it needs something else to fill up all that white space on the side. Otherwise, it looks great!
