This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

AP Featured Wallpaper!: I think this wall is a great example of creativity! While I do like Eureka 7, that wasn't my only deciding factor ;D Real attention was paid to getting the angles and perspectives right in this wall, and it altogether delivers a believeable scene. But at the same time, it's spacious enough for a nice desktop. There is room for improvement, but nothing that detracts from the overall great job!; Featured by ^nat

The characters are extracted from Newtype June edition and were terribly covered with text so I had to repaint some parts of them using the tablet. They look like sitting on a bench so I thought it would be quite suitable to place them both into the Nirvash.

[edit] Some modification was done on the characters (a bit blur).

This wallpaper is very cool. The cleaning is nicely done. I have the same scan on my pc so I know that there was so much text. The transparent screens are very nice and so typical for Mecha-series. The parts of Nirvash we can see in your wallpaper are clean and look great. It reminds me a bit of your Hoshi no Koe fanart. I guess all mechas somehow are alike.

The HUD arrangement is good, it gives a good impression of a sphere of screens. But I'd have put scan lines and some sort of glow to give it a more techy feel. Also I can see where you've recoloured Renton and Eureka, especially over his hair. The flat colour looks too obvious because you can see the inkdot pattern of the original scan as well. Something some smart blurring could sort out for you :P Also the outline of the extraction has some white where you didn't clean up the outlines... still props for the idea and making a high-resolution wallpaper.

Great work on cleaning and reconstructing the scan :) it was a cover so there really was a plenty of text and noise to remove ^^ The Nirvash is like Chibikko said clean and sharp, thus perfectly in the same style as charas. The concept also works great :] Also you made a really good perspective on the sky it looks very real. *thumbs up*

I really love the idea! It suits the two of them wonderfully. Nice job on cleaning, but the image would look better if you had completely re-CGed it, since now it just looks blurred... Anyhow, a few things need improvement but the way you used the image, and just the scene makes it awesome ^^

Nice wall. The only things I have problems with is: The background has crisper lines than the scan, jagged edges after changing perspective on the displays, and the font on 'Gekko Go SOUND ONLY'. Nonetheless, still an awesome wall. +fav

I like the scenery you created for the scan of this wall...One of my favorite details in this is the images that are up on the console in front of them. It definitley gives it a very three-dimensional feel. Plus, the way you handled the perspective on this is very well done.

Very interesting perspective used. as Furikuu mentioned the HUD placement was excellent. i personally have no love for scan lines but would agree on the glow. masterful work done with the environment in terms with the characters and situation. as everyone has already said beautiful wall.

Excellent repair job. I can't really find those blur places you mentioned. The interior looks convincing with the comm screen and such, it can be seen that the Nirvash is drawn from scratch as the lining is much finer that the characters. I don't really like the stern look on their faces but thats got nothing to do with your work :) This is one great wall. I don't have to tell you that I'mm adding this to my fav.

I really like this wallpaper, the perspective is fantastic and I really like your use of screen-caps and smaller images in the pop-up windows around the characters, it adds a really nice touch. The character image quality is a little suspect in some areas, but outside that it's fantastic. Great job.

This is one of the best walls ive ever seen. the idea is pretty nifty and its not filled with special effects and such. its eyecandy to me and you made good use of the screencaps using them as popup screens as other members mentioned already. the only thing i would complain about is how you left the scan =/ i see solid color spots on rentons hair and trousers and you didnt work further to get the rest away, i also think the scan doesnt look as high quality as the background so maybe a bit more work on the scan would have made this wall a tick better than it already is.
