Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Something simplistic~ I was just "buying" some scans and got inspired. (It was cold out, and if I stared at this picture long enough I felt warmer. ^^)
Used some mad clone stamp skills to fill out the left side of the wallpaper with grass, then took a black and white clip art of a tree - skewed, blurred and multiplied it over the image to create something like leaf shadows. I'm not sure what I think about the leaf shadows. But I was afraid it might be too boring without them?
A very nice, simple, and peaceful wallpaper, I really like the soft look and the uncluttered layout. I think you could use some text or something in the lower left hand corner, but outside that it's a very good wallpaper.
A little tip : to improve the perspective, make two different areas to apply the shadow.
It can't be continuous on the arm of Al and on the grass because they aren't at the same height.
Except for that, very nice! Keep goin'on!
Very nice wall. Despite Ed's expression, it gives off a really serene feeling.
Some text might have been nice, but then again, it might also ruin the overall peaceful feeling. I think it's good as it is. ^_^
Nice wall . . . it gives a peacefull feeling . . . a ;ittle simple but i like its simplicity. The pictures of Al and Edward is very nice and cute . . . hehe i like the cats too. :D . . . I think you have done a great work. Thank you so much for sharing it. :D
Wow...it's so serene...I love the leaf shadow addition ;) If you want to add more things to the wallpaper, I'd have to stop you =X The simplicity is just perfectly balanced, although you CAN add a little bit of text XD Other than that, I don't see what's wrong with this wall O_O This one deserves a fave ;D +fav
