Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

*sigh* Hopefully THIS one will get accepted here. The last couple I made didn't. :(

Anyway, I tried to make this look like a painting. I did loots of smudging. >_< I hope everything looks okay. It took me a while to clean up the scan too. There was a fold line on it and I had to cover it up. >_< I think I did a good job though. I got the scan from MT. Scan by saikusa

I know the style of the characters doesn't fit with the background but its supposed to be that way..like it is a dream that they are standing in. :) So you don't need to tell me that they don't fit XD

Um...I really don't know what else to say XD so I hope you like my new wallpaper. :)

Good job 0n the background. It looks better in full view than in icon mode ^^
Btw, I suggest to reduce the number of the sakura petals on the tree.. it looks kind of fake..
err.. for more info how a real sakura looks like.. try looking for the pic =P
anyways, I don't mean it's bad, it's nice. Just need some brush up. ^^
and the sakura floationg at shaoran's and sakura's are a nice idea. again,
try to not put too much petals. ^^ it doesn't look natural.

However, overall, it's nice. Ppl, try to see it in full view. icon's mode can cover the reality ^^

It's not bad, it just needs some help in the texturing department; I understand you're going for a painted look, but the tree and grass need a lot more detail and texture. You might want to consider adding a sligh texture to the entire wall to give a more 'painted on canvas' kind of feel.

Hey I love this wallpaper. I like the bright colors. It makes me think of a peaceful and bright world... unlike the reality is (ours and the one from Tsubasa Cronicles as well :D). I like the contrast between the fore- and background very much as well. Good job on it :) *waits for more great walls*

O...this wall looks different from the others, probably because of the more solid colors...it kinda looks like an oil painting or something ^^

It's simple, it's clean, it's happy, it's birdy, it's sunsetty, how much more could you want? The concept is very simple, with a well-executed backdrop for the characters. No super special effect, no ultra shinyness, just pure simplicity? Isn't that what all the world strives for in the end? At the end of the day, isn't this what we wish our world could be like...simple?

Utopia in a painting, maybe not...but a darn good shot at it.
