Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

All of the thousands of Gil-fans can start cheering now, because the first and only Gil-wallpaper is finally here! Ha ha.I`m almost shure that i`m the only fan, but whatever...
This took me over 1 week to make.It has around 50 layers, not counting the ones i deleted. It is all vectored and the colours are smoothed by hand, because using filters leads to loss of detail. The formula in the background is drawn by me and is completely correct by the way. I think this is a christmas wall, because the text glows golden.(not really, but i`m trying every lye to make you like it.) If you know the original scan you will notice that Gil is a lot prettyer here(i did some plastic surgery). I hope you like the result at least half as much as i do.Enjoy!

gil does look nice, but the text seems a bit small(not that it's not good)
either way you look at it, those 50 layers are well spent!

Oh kewlly! i like what you did with his clothes! looks great and very unique! the bg fits the scan nicely! the text looks so pretty! and he does look pretty...that's a good thing i suppose. great job on the wall :)

This is really a good wallpaper. Nice job with the coloring and lettering. Fits teh charecter very well too. Definatly a good effort.
