Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Ah this wall...actually this was one of my side walls I did. Basically I do other walls and then when im done I reflect on a wall like this kind of like a collage. All what you see here is my progress i've done through the months and I've kept it a secret with most people. All your wonderful comments went into this wall and I give this to a very special person named Amanda. Though I couldnt find a good Asa Shigure scan with a good pose I chose Robin from WHB. Why do you ask? My feelings were always bottled up and I always felt alone. But this girl gave me hope and that gave me the wings to continue on as I go through. As I fly in the sky hoping to achieve my goal and astonish you anime fans and people who adore what I do. I hope you like it Amanda and I hope you all like it as well.
EDIT: I also forgot to tell you the details >_< Gomen. The Nebula was designed using cloud brushes and then getting the right detail to form a nebula like style...first time doing that ^_^. Also If you look at this wall at night and you turn the lights off it will really stand out. I also like to point out the city in the bottom right was just to add something to the empty space there and then adding the park lights as well. The wings...well never was really a pro at that but I like to make wings from scratch, like the entire wall I did was with a mouse. I'm hoping to get a tablet soon so I can really start to bring out some of my other works. Anyway the 2 planets are also another thing I really love the setting of it though as I usually have more than just one planet around ;). Finally the beam around robin is actually to show almost true power within her just wanted to add that and showing you how my feelings came out with correspondance with the wings. Anyway be sure to check out the actual scenery here http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/26287940/ !
Have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year...God bless

I love the composition and atmosphere of this wallpaper. It is quite breath-taking, and the whole standoffishness of the white wings, the white glows and feathers adds an interesting, dreamy effect to the piece. The scenery is well-incorporated, and so is the beautiful nebula - they support the atmosphere of the piece without drawing too much attention away from the glowing Robin.
I think the two feathers at the bottom are a little too blurry, though. Despite this, you create this wonderfully surreal feeling in this wallpaper with the large contrast between the realistic scenery and fantastical wings and sky.
It's a very beautiful piece. ^^
A great wall, for sure. Still on the last disc of WHR, so I'm not sure if she actually gets those wings... but the feeling this wall gives off is completely amazing!
Awesome background! I love this wallpaper. The idea of making Robin look like an angel is really cool. I'm definitly going to use this wallpaper. The detail you've put into the background is amazing. Great job on this one! +fav.
I say that's not a good choice and you can't really see her in the wall and it would've been a better idea to use someone else. The wall is nice though
It's clean and silence - -'
i think when i first to watch it and download in center wall i see have girl ^^'
i never seen before i download
but your wall is so cool and simply
thank for share good job ><b
I don't quite like robin... i watched the anime, and she turns out to be the char i never fond about...
anyhow put that aside and your paper alone should it be placed as a movie theatre I would be tempted to watch...
the sense of calm & mistery is thick... especially in the thumbnail mode, i was tempted badly though i kno it will take about 5 min to load a wallpaper with this crappy 56K of mine...
Overall in concept its should be great... Its alluring its good, its simple and easy on the eyes.
In the other hand during the execution, i still could see traces of difference cloud on the top
The planet is great, but maybe a lil bit too sharp on the outer rings ( things closer appears sharper than things further away ) the planet / moon appears homogenously sharp.
The nebula on the left side is good, but i dunno if it should be there or not.
The stars, yes they are great, fewer stars with higher details such as different sizes and degree of luminence and various degree of blurriness will even more enhance the whole visual experience...
The wings they are bit too opaque IMHO, and the sparkle effects on robin is not necessary...
The dark area on the bottom could be better should there be reflections from the sky... ( water reflection, bit blurry & dark )
and i will not comment on robin coz i wont stop after it...
everything else is great.
Wow, the potential of this wallpaper concept is great, have you ever thought to release 2nd version of it?
Cool stuff dude.
Thank you

Ahh..this wallpaper isnt too bad, I'm liking it. Though one thing that bothers me, the whole wing thing and moon..doesnt really fit Robin but we can always add something a little different. I really like the color scheme and not sure in the sky if its an auroa b..I can't spell it, but you did magificant in the color mixing! *adds to favorites*

This is a beautiful wallpaper. I really love the japanese text and the english text. The position for the text is just perfect. The background you designed is really elegant. The angle wing is just outstanding. One of the best I've seen around. The colours are just beautiful. It's really well balanced and really well used. The whole concept of this wallpaper was really well planned. Great job on this wallpaper.
