After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Nowadays, wallpapers involving vectors have been as common as everyday's bread, but it is undoubtly a fact that this wallpaper shows how vectors can be used and improved to such an extent that one can only be amazed in front of it.
What makes this wallpaper worth to be highlighted is not its background or its originality or creativity. It is its EFFECTIVENESS. This wallpaper is damn effective. Grayserg managed to make a normal vector look incredibly good by touching it up and by perfectly playing with shading, lighting and blending modes. It sounds simple on paper, but I bet you guys that achieving a result like that requires an high level of knowledge and experience. As a result of all this we have a wallpaper that perfectly works on a desktop, that has a nice contrast, and manages to grab the attention of the viewer to constantly keep looking at it because of its overall entertaining shading/lighting.
And as a final note, I do suggest you to go visit Grayserg's gallery, that really deserves more attention and appreciation. :)

Very well done. The use of light & shadow, and the coloring, really highlight the charactersâ?? expressions perfectly. It also really sets a scene as well, itâ??s very easy to imagine them in a situation where their attention must be focused completely as they go into some unknown. The only thing that I just might call into question would be the text. Itâ??s very nice and you did a great job on it, itâ??s only that the placement does seem to set the depth perception back a little. Thatâ??s a though call, and I canâ??t think of a better place to put it either. The only other option would be putting it in a string along the bottom and making it less noticeable, which I normally try to find a way around myself. Itâ??s a small matter at any rate, and everything about the wallpaper is top quality, I just thought Iâ??d mention it in case itâ??s of any help.
Seriously. I mean... I already knew you make impressive wallpapers but this just goes beyond what I could honestly imagine. And as a cherry on top it's a LODOSS WAR wallpaper, probably one of my most favorite series (that I am currently walling as well).
The shading, lighting and overall touch-up that you do on your vectors is something I've never seen done before. You really gotta teach me how do you do these things when I catch you on ICQ mate, lol.

Oh man i have to agree with Shinn and August. This is just something fantastic. I dont think the contrast is too dark at all. It's just right. The black corner is not so bad, it can be worked around. I love it though. The whole style is something new and its looks great. Keep it up.^^

Looks like another wallpaper for my favourites ^^" I just adore Lodoss, and Deedo :D And i don't quite think there's anything to improve on this one, the light and shadow play is superb, and it's very detailed as well. Two thumbs up, waaay up :)

At first glance, (the icon mode) i can't really see the "greatness" of this wallpaper. It
looks plain to me, really really plain, only the main char's scan and the black background.
When I saw the recommendation stuff, I thought why not try and look at it.
So I download it. When I looked at it, I went completely speechless wahahaha
Even my mom, who's at that time was behind me, was surprised. LOL.
Anyways, great and really really detailed shading, for the hair, it really looks great
It looks kind of real, though it's still in anime mode, the bluish rays on the hair adds in
a sense of darkness (of the place). Not only that, we can still see a little bit hair flying..
I mean stray of hair.. You know.. those white lines.. Yeah some of the hair. Cool isn't it?
It's so detailed.
Besides that, the glow on the char's eyes really fits onto the background, since her eyes' green
so it should be rather shining on the dark. Furthermore, I want to praise the shading of the
wall. It really follow the concept. The concept is.. The light come from the left!! xD Not really the left
more like directly just a little bit near the hair.. Where the bluish background is.. I can't really explain.
For people who don't know this wall's greatness yet, try to download it and look at it properly~ You'll
be left speechless.. Or in my case ^^
