This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Nah, I don't want new ones I need these ones to break in more. But my left thumb is really hurting right where the knuckle is >.< I guess I have some bad habits on my left hand.
Nowadays, wallpapers involving vectors have been as common as everyday's bread, but it is undoubtly a fact that this wallpaper shows how vectors can be used and improved to such an extent that one can only be amazed in front of it.
What makes this wallpaper worth to be highlighted is not its background or its originality or creativity. It is its EFFECTIVENESS. This wallpaper is damn effective. Grayserg managed to make a normal vector look incredibly good by touching it up and by perfectly playing with shading, lighting and blending modes. It sounds simple on paper, but I bet you guys that achieving a result like that requires an high level of knowledge and experience. As a result of all this we have a wallpaper that perfectly works on a desktop, that has a nice contrast, and manages to grab the attention of the viewer to constantly keep looking at it because of its overall entertaining shading/lighting.
And as a final note, I do suggest you to go visit Grayserg's gallery, that really deserves more attention and appreciation. :)
Should tell - I don't know what more I can do with this wallpaper.
Yes, background is simple again :) And huge black hole in right corner:) But I like colors and general shade...
And I love Deedlit (Hello, Victor! :))
If you think this wallpaper is too dark or contrast - let me know.
Well worthy of that feature! Great work. The vector work makes it look really sharp and clear, and the shading is spot on. Attention to detail is excellent as well. Only one complaint - it's not 1600x1200. Other than that, a great wallpaper! Thanks for sharing!
I can't believe this, i'm sure not many peoples out there will be able to do something this good.
The vectoring, the shading, the colours, all awesome. The carachters are so eye-catching that you don't really notice the "simpleness" of the background, witch suits the rest well anyway. Good Job! ^^b
Beautiful. Sheer. Very unique use of vectors. I didn't realize it from the thumbnail. But once I got the larger view, I was amazed. Doesn't hurt that Lodoss is a great series.
Wow. She looks damn cool.
I like especially the shading on her clothes, it just looks great!
And her face expression... the glow in her eyes... wow. Just wow.
Parn in the background... he looks like a villain ^^" Half in the dark and so on... ^^
Great work!

Ahh...I've been anticipating for this wall for a long time XD Your walls are damn good...do you make the art yourself? O_O I haven't seen any animation or games like this... Your walls always keep me entertained ;D Anyway, time for me to shut up =X +fav =D
Holy! Does the thumbnail not do justice to this wall or WHAT!
Marvelous.
I'd +Fav it twice if I could:
1 for having a Deedlit wall (ROLW was out since when... 1992?) and another for the awesomeness (is this a word?) of the wall
I am...completely speechless...Shinn has this pegged. Goddamn. That has got to be one of the most impressive walls I have *ever* seen...GREAT job! +fav!
