This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.
It's pretty good, but its empty. If you did something with the background, like made scenery, it would be very good. The character's neat though. Well, it's your first time, so those are suggestions for you^^. keep trying. good luck!
The character image needs some serious work. It's grainey, the extraction is not tight enough and the bottom half of it needs re-cging to cover up the colour pattern. the pattern doesn't make sense given the bg you've created. In fact, I'd probably vector/trace the chara.
I'd say the character also needs to be much bigger in the wall as the bg is very simple. Also, the logo kinda jars as it's very complicated and the rest of the wall isn't try creating a bit of your own text.
From the view of the thumbnail, I've got to give to you that the capture that you used to portray Allen in here is quite nice. The background is simple, and the wallpaper could be improved with, as previously commented on before by other personnels- it looks a bit simple, but I won't kill you over it.

I liked this wallpaper because it is, as other poeple put it, "plain." The background color blends with the picture, but doesn't wash it out or distract the focus from the cute bishie. Very relaxing and soft. :)
