This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I haven't watched this, but I looked at it on anime news network, your picture looks amazing. The moon and the stars look wonderful and match wonderfully with the waves.
I want to state that this wallpaper has an amazing background, and love how it flows all together with the character images, and the title of the wallpaper.
Wow. The mood and drama of this wallpaper hit me immediately - it won't fit my screen, unfortunately, but oh, well. Wonderful - the colors and the characters, the entire scene conveys a sort of... explosion-ish, everything-at-once kind of emotion. I like the composition, and as others have said scan quality is the only downpoint here. Overall nice job, I really like it. =)

Allow me to introduce you, this is Mikuru Asahina-chan.
That's the whole introduction? Where did you abduct her from?
I didn't abduct her, it was voluntary arrest.
