This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I'm pretty proud of that one. I think it's the first time I wall a in door scene.
The scan was so cool I had to wall it :D
Since I didn't put much time on the cleaning and extraction of the scan, I put more effort in the background then ever. I tried a lot of thing and had fun creating new brushes on my own in Photoshop.
I painted almost everything except the design on the door.
I didn't put any text on the wall, I just feel it wasn't appropriated.

The title of scary enough. lol great job on the background. and amazing detail. XP love the scan too. i think its abit fuzzy. @.@ i dont have my glasses right now so im not that sure. >_<

Wow that looks like it hurt.. nice I like it. Wow that sword looks awesome right there the way it is held and stuff you put all this together really well. I belive what at first looks like fuzzy is coming from that beem of light which explains why it looks fuzzy. big beams of light in the dark seem to make the air around them look fuzzy so i think that that makes it even better! some realism whether on purpose or accident i like it. favorite>? I think so it definently is a good wp. GReat work and good job.

I love the blood. The drool is threatening to come out... The designs on the wall and the floor are awesome! The scan is droolworthy... It is too cool that you painted the whole background on your own. The shading is great, and that beam of light is awe-inspiring! I love the blood... drool... Great job! ^^;;
Oh hm...not bad. you just need to check on these points: the perspective of the ground doesn't seem right, it goes up a bit out of nowheren_nV... and the pillar next to the character has a line or something, better fix that up. other then that it's a nice wall. keep it up =)~!
I thought it was Fujimiya Aya from Weiss Kreuz, the red haired character and the bloody theme is similar.
Really really like this wall, think you've done great job.
Like the door idea, works well in this one.
Background is nicely done keeping the colours dark and creepy but interesting.
