Sitting at my desk, twittling my thumbs, and praying that something will magically happen and all my work will be done for the night... Long and drawn out right? :S
Well... let's just say that university and other matters literally took away all the time I had, so I slowly worked on wallpapers bit by bit during these months.
And this is the first of them that I am submitting (and the most quick for me, though it still took me the usual couple of days). This wallpaper is basically a "remix" of the one that I submitted as entry at Samurai Champloo's contest at animegalleries, which I decided to rework and improve since now I have all the time I want due to winter holidays. :)
It's pure vectored randomness. The original scan can be found HERE, and I decided to play with its colours and make that kind of vectored/abstract wallpaper that w00tazn likes so much. Definetely a style that I never tried before, but I wanted to give it a shot and see what I could do.
And as you noticed in the signature, there's a new website that will appear most likely next month, which is gonna be my new home. So if you're looking for more resolutions, stay tuned and when the website will be ready you'll be able to find them there. :)
Oh yeah, and thanks to w00tazn for suggesting some idea for the typo, lol.
Truly has been a while since you submitted something. Sweet wallpaper, and killer style too. Been seeing this type of thing get more popular nowadays. Spashed paint, arrows, circles, swirlies, etc. Its pretty cool actually, when its done right anyways XP ;) lol. Love your vector work. Nice combination of gradients, and light brushing to give it a more rounded look. Wish this could beat my desktop LOL. Nice to see your still around. Until next time. +Fav
I like this simple gradient background. Yes! I love simple, transparent backrounds:) Glad to see this one.
Nice high-saturated colors (and of course, I like this vector) Though, must notice - these arrows in upper part of screen... its mildly break of composition... But this only my opinion. Anyway - good work!
Indeed a better version then your first one. The composition's great, the colorscheme is lovely, you kinda get a warm feeling of it. I like the randomness with arrows and splashes all over the place, really cool ^^
The vector's top notch as always, but besides all that... Fuu's really cute ^^
