This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Well... let's just say that university and other matters literally took away all the time I had, so I slowly worked on wallpapers bit by bit during these months.
And this is the first of them that I am submitting (and the most quick for me, though it still took me the usual couple of days). This wallpaper is basically a "remix" of the one that I submitted as entry at Samurai Champloo's contest at animegalleries, which I decided to rework and improve since now I have all the time I want due to winter holidays. :)
It's pure vectored randomness. The original scan can be found HERE, and I decided to play with its colours and make that kind of vectored/abstract wallpaper that w00tazn likes so much. Definetely a style that I never tried before, but I wanted to give it a shot and see what I could do.
And as you noticed in the signature, there's a new website that will appear most likely next month, which is gonna be my new home. So if you're looking for more resolutions, stay tuned and when the website will be ready you'll be able to find them there. :)
Oh yeah, and thanks to w00tazn for suggesting some idea for the typo, lol.

expresstion of the pic brings me joy as I look at it...

Although it's part of the scan: those nails are kinda weird... well, it fits the hip-hop-funky-whatever theme of champloo, but i think it just doesn't fit fuu at all.
anyway, this wall is just gorgeous, fuu looks just stunning, reminds me of someone special...
i have a weird feeling wih those arrows, sometimes they seem just right, and sometimes their "straightness" seems to break with the graffiti(spelling, anyone?) style of the whole thing, but who am i, nub of all nubs to comment on this anyway...
Wow...I just LOVE this wallpaper. The warm colors instantly attracted my attention and the clean and crisp vectored scan suites the unique and abstract shapes in the background. It is a simple display of brushes but I really like the details and the variety in there ^^
