This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
To start off the new year i give you all a new Bleach wallie.
Scan of Gin supplied from Dioma here on MT (Thank you)
Scan of Ishida supplied by Dioma on AP (Thank you again)
Scan of Ichico i got from a random search on google.
wanted to do something different this time and found these covers of the bleach character singles that have headphones featured
thought it would be cool to put them together on th one wallpaper with musical notes in the bg and distorted line effects to emphasize that the music they listen to can KILL...lolol :)
played with the contrast and brightness
bg is just a gradient overlay
simple wallpaper but i dont mind how it turned out
this took about 2 hours to do all up
Layers: 36 (alot of duplicates of the distorted lines and musical notes)
anyway here it is
enjoy
comments and criticisim welcome

First off, the extraction could do with some work. There are a few edges where the background of the scan is left.
Also, the musical notes have very aliased (jaggy) edges, where they would look better if they were smoother. In fact, given the simplicity of the gradient background, they would look better if they were quite detailed, in 3D maybe.
In terms of the bg, I would suggest having another go at it. Some sort of tech background may work well, or you could go down the route of having a sheet music texture sport of thing.
Lastly, the charas feel a little disconnected - the composision could maybe use some tweaking. Try searching for something called "rule of thirds" and using it to help you compose the elements of your walls.
If I'm brutally honest, it feels a little lazy overall. It's a nice enough idea, but could do with a lot of tweaks to make it a really good wall. I think session zero has let you down a bit here - you didn't get enough responses to really help you.
This looks like it would work better if the scans were arranged in a certain manner that I can't think of at the moment. I dunno it feels kinda like cut and paste but I could be wrong. I guess work on getting the scans to work together so the picture doesn't feel cluttered. I dunno just some thoughts..

Quit crying your eyes out, and baby come on
Isn't there something familiar about me?
The past is only the future with the lights on
Quit crying your eyes out, baby
Very neat concept!
