This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I don't know... Another "one-character" wallpaper. I've attached cut-off version (1280x960) here: http://grayserg.by.ru/Eva1280.jpg
and I can not choose what version I like more...
Ha... And I can not decide - I like this concept or I don't like this :( But I drew this wallpaper during lot of days and I need to post it on animepaper finally :)

You've got some awesome drawing skill, but to me it somehow doesn't really look like Asuka, though i can't really pinpoint why

Your wallpaper has lots of good effects and is better than anything i can ever make. but in general i dont like the expression on her makes. doesn't look like her really. but i guess you were going for a dark look right? anwyays nice eeffects and a good wallpaper in the end

At first I wasn't crazy about the image of Asuka. For some reason it just didn't look too much like her to me. But the longer I look at it, the more I begin to like the fact its a different style of her then normal. Its fresh, new, excellently done weather you like how Asuka looks in it or not. Seriously, this shows great talent and a good eye to back it up. Great work.

Eee.. i think a lot of people already commented on your wallpaper,
about the vectoring and everything else, and i must admit i like it too, though
there's always a though or but in my comment lol.
anyways... erm, i don't really like the scan =P of Asuka. Here... she looks almost
similar to a boy.. long face.. rather muscular.. dunno =P
though i must admit it gives off a mysterious aura..
I prefer the Asuka Asuka. if you understand what i'm saying. Not one of my favorites,
but great job!

It's your own drawing vectored right? Well it's really amazing, although Asuka's face seems a bit awkward, I mean, a bit too manly for such a young girl... but your technique is really excellent and I wish to see more of your work in the future!

It took me a few glances to recognise Asuka in the wallpaper. But damn, I really like this one. In my opinion you bring something to Asuka that makes her seem more human. I can't put my finger on it. It may have been the style that you chose that moved away from the more traditional anime style. Her hair is amazing, all the strands down her back... simply amazing!
