Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
First successful vector! Yay! The two characters are from Death Note, L, the one on the bottom and Raito {or Light} on the top. I had liked this picture but the quality was… how would one say, crappy, so I decided to vector it. ^^ It took a couple of days since I did it on and off, but it got done. I don’t know about the background… I might redo it when I have time and replace it… we’ll just have to see. Well, take care!
That is an awesome Death Note wallpaper... I'm sure my friend would say the same. But anyhow, that's a sweet vector. It's very well done... For some reason... I really like the colour for this one. Man I wish i could vector T________T I like the background you gave it but I'm not completely sure about the solid portions.. I haven't read the series yet (but I know what happens for a lot of parts because of my friend ^^;;;) But anyhow, it's overall an awesome job XD
Really interesting background! I love the ripped paper and the brownish tone of the entire wall :) I think I would've preferred a more lined look with the text, but it's a minor complaint... I love the way this looks, makes for a wonderful and very usable desktop! xD And... Death Note totally rocks xD
This is the kind of wallpaper I'd like to make! I like the clean vector trace with your excellent choice of colors, and the paper texture is a great effect for this. The compostion with the torn paper in the background works really well, too. I wouldn't change anything about it! Adding it to my favorites -- thanks for sharing your talent!
