This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Well i know that tama and ayasal used this photo for her arts too.. i liked the photo very much so i visted the da-page from "psimau" and asked him for his permission because its NOT a stock photography - and i get it today. rather i should have to do my homework but i am not in the mood for - so i created this wallpaper art of merories off.
the girl is standing in the clock tower - its a windy day so the cherry blossoms blows up to the tower .. and flies around her.
AND yes i know much of you would say "oh another simple wall from asahi" .. but hey i dont like to use to much brushes for a nightly sky or something eles. the chara is in the front not the nightly sky (background) - thats the usability of a desktop wallpaper IMO

Very nice wallpaper. Great background and lovely, clean character in a really. There are some small white pixels around her hair on the left and some on the top of her head. Just go over the extraction a bit more. Really nice wallpaper otherwise! Thanks for sharing!

I love how nice and detailed it is! Simple clean and pretty! The only thing that bothers me is the blackness of the clock frame. It looks way too dark and close to such a brilliant and visible girl
I think that the fact that it is a "simple" wall accentuates the clean lines and beautiful central image. The light colors of the character's clothing and bright light from her extended hand contrasts nicely with the dark background. Very imaginative, since I would not have considered using a dark background with such a bright figure, but as it can be seen, it came together quite nicely. Thank you for contributing this. If only you could pass in your wallpaper criticism in place of your actual homework assignment... :)
