As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Nothing much (although, it feels like I'm forgetting something). Anyways, I'm listening to "Calling" from T.W.E.W.Y, and thinking up a poem for my group. I'm becoming worried, though. I don't like working on poems out of work. I want to write poems out of

but the more I turn my face from the crowd
the more I feel my backs' increasingly compelled
for the sake of escape, to turn a knife on itself,
a knife of relief, from all the petty insight
and finally I'll sleep, I'll sleep through the night.
Haven't made a wall in a while. Quite frankly I've been out of it lately, having thoughts which I should not be having, things that can land me in an asylum, supressing your feelings turns out to be harder everyday. On top of that, I've been having trouble concentrating, hence I've been unable to find inspiration lately. Today, though, I woke up and sucked it up, I dyed my hair black and sat on my computer and came up with this. Mainly its just some brushing, vectoring and montage from an original scan by the one and only Kei Toume.
Very nicely done, I really like the concept and the look of this one. The texturing and almost-brushed look makes it really stand out; I'll have to add this one to my favorites.

Beatifull. I love the grudge effect there. Alot of emotions going on here. I liked that poem/stroy you wrote there very in-depth. At first i thought it was Kagome xD This is amazing though. Keep it up. =D
Knight, your sound like me me a couple of years ago. A man who questions everything around him, constantly battling his own inner demons. Hopefully what woke me up and brought me a VERY LITTLE bit of peace doesn't happen to you. Life is a bitch and if you think it bites hard now...you ain't seen nothing yet sadly.

Hey i love this grungey feel to it. it looks great and it looks like it was like drawn or something. its great but somehow i get sad and depressed when i look at this =P good job.
