This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
My boss's wife is from China and I heard in some cases they could barely understand each other, if at all, between villages... orally anyway, not sure about written.
Ii know tama-neko did the original ipod ads, but i decided to do ona and mix it up a bit. shuffle even lol.

when i saw the ipod shuffle ads, i was like..."THATS EVE COOLER!" the arrows are a nice touch, and so i was watching the ad a lil while ago on apple.com and i had just scanned through the r.o.d. scans before it, and since it was so late they melted together in my head, and i decided to vector it out.
and here it is. the irod shuffle. cause life is random, and so am i. now and then anyways.
have yet to decide if i'm gonna actually upload it to Pixelated Graffiti, or just leave it as a forum exclusive. guess it all depends on yor opinions.
and for the ones who don't get it...you shuffle a deck of cards. cards are made of paper. anita is a paper master.

the ipod shuffle green is slightly darker than the ipod green. i eyedropped it from the actual commercial >.>

the actual commercial color is the one i used.
I didn't do the original iPod anime ads, I got the idea off of someone who did an iPod Haibane Renmei ads. I just happened to have a dozen vectors that fit the style and ran off with the idea.
Anyway, love the pun irod vs ipod, and the fact you gave her a deck of playing cards to further play on the 'shuffle' pun :D Quite fitting, and Anita's dynamic pose is excellent.

I was working on an ipod-parody wall ;____; But of course yours is so much better then mine will be xD I like the green and the flowing hair and clothes, it really has the same feel and flow as the commericals do [although I think the original iPod's kick the Shuffle's ass from here to kingdom come xD]
The idea is original and well done, but maybe you should have picked red or pink for Anita... she's not really a "green" type or person, y'know? Also I think that green is supposed to be Michelle's colour. But don't get me wrong -- I still love it! ^^
As always, your ideas are incredible. Everything from the ipod/irod idea, her pose, to the playing cards (shuffle...yeah, I got it) just fits perfectly. You never fail to amaze me. :)
Oh no, another ipod wallpaper! Its cute though. I was surprised on what your anime choice to make it with, but its a great choice nonetheless. Keep up the hard work and thanks for sharing.
