This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.
Another piece for the ladies. ...I seem to do a lot of them ^^;;; Though I suppose that's just to make up for how much male fan service accumulates on this site. This piece was drawn by my pal inuchan143 ^^ Talented as always. She got the idea and pose mostly from the KZLA cowboy advertisements popping up in Los Angles.
After she had sketched them out I colored them and then started playing with effects and paint brushes in Photoshop. I used several brushes from this site so please go check it out: veredgf.fredfarm.com/vbrush/main.html
No major meaning behind the piece... just blatant fan service. They're both characters from inuchan143's comic that she is currently working on. I was first going to make it look more like an official wanted poster but I just loved the depth and perspective I got with this current layout. I was also going to have a price at the bottom but it looked clunky and crowded so I left it alone. ...Plus inuchan will probably be doing a more official looking poster with this same art.
Overall it probably only took an hour and a half on my part to color and do the effects. In all there were probably only 10 layers used in this (it was a lazy coloring job ^^). Critiques are much appreciated.
EDIT: Ack thank you for the spelling catch >< Yeesh I feel stupid for not catching that. Guess it serves me right for doing it at 2am in the morning ^^;;;
Your friend can really draw. EXCELLENT!! You don't see may of these. Always the female looking half dress. Nice to see a difference. Yeah one for the girls!!
I know its suposed to be old and westurn but the white lines running down kind of make it less apealing.. well other than that good job plenty of room but... the whole guy thing makes me not want to use it as my wall but.. im sure there are some people who will. well really nice job but good job. keep it up

Hehehe understandable, I feel the same way about a lot of the blatant male fan service walls around here ^^ Sure I might see a nice wall, but the half naked bunny chick on it will obviously put it in my, "No Go" category. Thank you everyone for the critiques :)
