This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Ok so yeah I kinda took the series out of context xD But that was the plan from the beginning lol Anyway, this is my new wall WAY OVERDO but at least I finally got one up >.> As you might know already I like to try new and different things as I get bored easy ;) So for this wall I decided to play around with, well, word play xD I had been wanting to do a wall made of words for awhile I was just waiting for the right scan. So when I saw this awesome cover of Hot Gimmick I knew it would work perfectly. Of course I had to vector it the lines where just too sexy to ignore xD and the rest is all history! As always enjoy everyone!
Oh and yeah the wall is rather symbolic. Of what? Well that’s up to you hehehe ;)
I think I would've liked to see more differentials in the word play... more than just the word "superficial" all clustered in the middle and also some different font sizes

Really nice textures as well! I like what you did with the scan, how you made him "faceless" and you added that tattoo right? This is too awsome! The colors as well! A stiched heart! Very nice. I think the only thing I can critique is that the words superficial could have different opacities especially in the center. For variety how about synonyms of superficial, don't you know the real cause of superficiality? It's.........

Damn. What's with all the 1337 walls? XD This one's extremely well textured and grunged, I have nothing to crit in that area. This face looks a bit weird, probably because he has no eyes XD Well, that doesn't matter cause it makes him 'empty' Awesome. I can't say anymore >_< +fav
