After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

The sword was part of the scan, and reminds me of the part in the beginning of AC when Kadaj kicks it over. So here's my attempt at recreating that mountain (eh somewhat... I know I'm missing the rock piles and stuff , although there's a little trail down there where the action happens ^^), along with that whole techy web thing where it had a few credits ^^. Again, the whole BG was made by scratch in Photoshop (along with the help of Terragen ).
I thought I uploaded this here at the same time as I did at MT, but I guess not :P. It's a rather simple wall, since I was trying to capture the feel of the into to the movie, and the loneliness in Tifa's face.
Tifa-love! An excellent wallpaper, but the blending between the background and the scan don't seem to match up that well. I've used terragen before, and I love what you've done with it (it has a very Final Fantasy VII-esque feel to it), but the clouds are a particular weak spot in Terragen's system. Furthermore, like I said, the color and texture of the ground Tifa's sitting on don't seem to exactly match those of the background. Still, all in all, an excellent work :).
Recreating the background must have been a difficult task. I don't really see the point of the transparent gridlines and blocks near the top of the wallpaper, but that's okay -- they don't intrude with the picture at all. I like how you used Terragen to assist in recreating the background from scratch to match the scan. In my opinion, it matches the scan fairly well, but, like all usages of 3D renders, some more fine-tuning could have been done. To sum it up: Great wallpaper. :)
Pretty cool, I really like the idea for the grid sorta things. It looks a bit too plain though, you could've made the background a little more dramatic. :P
Nice work. The repainting appears flawless at first look, it does have a Terragen feel to it but it's all good :D I like your rendition of the tech 2D effect, it blends into the scene well to give it that cinematic feel.

the scan of tifa is simply gorgeous, and her loneliness is expressed very well with her sitting alone next to the sword. the background is also nice ^^ hehe nice little mountain trail :P the techy effect in the sky is great, makes the wall look modern and funk.
i think it will be even nicer if the mountains could be clearer ^^
