This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

How long have you been using Bryce? I'm still pretty new to it but learning ^_^. Nice starfield full of gases and light. Combination of vector's and surreal background make for an incredible piece of work ;). Nice use of a light texture to blend things together. Did you use a stock for the hand in the lake or is that a render from Bryce O.O? Awesome work ^_^. Hope to see another splendid wallpaper from you in the future.
At first I was like...hmm wait! This is part of your desktop except it didnt have the background like that! But who cares! Lol the man strikes again! To me this peice could be used for the special edition DVD version seriously though I am not joking this could really get you money just by using that for a cover :P. Fantastic and im definately feeling a highlight commin! Phenominal you did well m8 and I'm proud of you!
I took one look at this wallpaper and one thing came to mind almost immdiately. FREAKY. This is very well done. Nice use of shading and colors. Awesome vector work as well. Keep up the good work, and I hope to see more from you!
I am a huge fan of Evangelion and this wallpaper does do it justice! It looks professionally done and looks like it took time and effort to make it perfect. The colour and the background blends in together and is easy on the eyes. The vectoring effect is quite unique and is nicely done. Keep up the great work!

This is some crazy gangsta shit yo! damn nigga you definitely did a hot job on this wallie. In a way I don't what to really look at it cuz its freaky but I can't help but stare at the great work, sorta like a mad smashed up accident on the freeway heh. Nice.

This is really amazing! It's so fitting of NGE, I wonder if there was ever a tranquil moment in the anime ~__~. You pull off everything so well, the bg, the vectors, the mood, the colors. This is just a beautiful masterpiece, so it get's a fave!
Woah, the end of the world is freaky ain't it. I love the ocean, the pinkish color gives it an "apocalyptic" feeling. Evreything image was used very well. Good work.
Hmm not so sure about the techniques you used here. Looks quite good but sceneric is really not my speciality to judge ^_^' Well done on the perspective blending but Rei looks overlayed with the sky somehow. Like her opacity is too low @_@ Other than that this is a really nice wall ^^
I must confess that this wallpaper is definitly one of the best NGE wallpapers I have ever seen. I love the idea of the composition the most. Then I like the background of course - especially the water. And then the positioning of Shinji, Asuka and Rei. However - its the coloring that makes this wall stand out - since the style reminds me of some quality CG or Artbook drawing.

This is indeed wonderfull, you did a outstanding job placing in the lake and mountains with the rest of the vectors, the overall quality is exelent aswell.
There have been alot of very good Neon Genesis wallpapers recently, yours in my eyes is definitly one of the best without a doubt.

Beautiful as always. Your way to shade vectors is amazing and unique as always it just makes me go wow everytime I see it. But I am not really fond of the 'bryce' type of water you used, which somewhat feels a bit too realistic compared to the celshaded anime characters. Same goes for the rocks. Maybe next time you could try painting/colouring it on your own, using the bryce render you made as "base" to have an idea on how to colour it. Still an awesome wallpaper :)
Oh and one last thing... I noticed your wallpaper has JPEG artifacts over it, probably because you submittesd the wallpaper with a big filesize (compared to its resolution), hence our script at AP probably recompressed it like that. I suggest you to resave your wallpaper with a smaller filesize and resubmit it, because it's a shame to see jpeg artifatcs on it :(
