This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
A quick grungey wall i did of rin. pretty much all i did here was put in some stock on factories in the back, then play around with some textures, blurs, and overlays. the font used is alice in chains' facelift font off of their self-titled album. the lyrics are from the song of the same name from Bushs' album Science Of Things.
Wow, this is a super detailed wall..it has atmosphere and depth, and even the font is well used. What more can I say, it's a fantastic wall and it certainly deserves it's SSS ranking. Fave-ing :3 Keep it up !
This is truly beautiful. I love the feel of the wallpaper, and I love how the original scan matches perfectly with the background. It's very lonely, but it's supposed to be and it works. I don't even know the show and I'd still use it for a desktop background. That says a lot right there.
The background is really nice, i like the dark colors that you used in as it protrays the feeling around. The unbrella seem symbolic in several ways, when i see this wall, not only do i see a girl with an umbrella, but another world with mixed emotions. very nice, keep up the good work.
This is a cute wallpaper, probably one of your better ones considering it's not as low quality as the rest.
First, you did a good enough job extracing the character to where it isn't very noticible. The scan is still pretty low quality though. You should probably look into Shinta's cleaning tutorial over at Imanimetions since it looks like you're having a problem with that in all of your wallpapers.
The color of the sky is ugly and doesn't fit, you should change it to something easier on the e yes, something lighter perhaps? The stars aren't as "amazing" as they usually are in star wallpapers here on Minitokyo, instead you chose to just keep them simple, which doesn't work in with the scan or setting you've created. The clouds look like you went crazy with the flow brush, which is nice, but I'd prefer clouds that actually resembled clouds, you know.
Finally, the 2 planets over on the left look really nice, unlike the planet and odd object on the moon on the right of the wallpaper. Maybe you should work on that.
Nice wall! i just saw this in the showcase today, i didn't recognize it to be fate/stay night character at first maybe because of the textures and different feel this wall gives. i especially love the mood it provides, like a mix of different emotions...

I guess it's just me, but I also have a thing for dark-to-light gradients, so this wall appeals to my likes. :D
Specially when its Night time. Wicked.
Good Work, and Nice "Dark Touch".

Overall, very amateur wallpaper from you Zaira :/
I really like how you placed the words on this one.
And I like how you made the texture look like rain. Most people just use texture as an effect.
