This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
My boss's wife is from China and I heard in some cases they could barely understand each other, if at all, between villages... orally anyway, not sure about written.
This wallpaper was made thanks to Shinn84. When he was working on his own Bebop wallpaper and I was giving some advice, I began to search the galleries for reference pictures of Faye's Redtail. That led me to discover this scan which just oozed style (moreso than your average Bebop pictures, which also ooze style) because of the flat, retro shading and colors. However, the full scan was unavailable so I looked to see if any other image gallery had a full version. I didn't find one, but I did find a different scan from Nat in the same style, so I decided to wall that instead.
Just a crisp, clean vector because the style fits it so perfectly. Also, it allowed me to reposition the characters since the original was too wide for a typical 4x3 resolution, and to adjust the image accordingly so it still works out. The title came from someone on IRC (RurouniSpritz I think) because it was orange, and the Vitamin tracks from No Disc represent the cutscene music they play for the commercial break interludes. I used the font from the original scan (ITC Oficina Serif), and made it REALLY REALLY BIG because, well, I couldn't think of any other way to put the text. Oh well.

Well the concept is pretty simply since it's the same as the scan. So you've just vectored it. But the vector is clean so it looks good. Would be nice if you had chosen own colors but the scan's colors are nice as well. i agree with Bromithia, the title looks good.
Really groovy colours, great contrast and character scan as well as the layout... i can say this is a really really great job done and will be my fav for a long time ^.^
This is the Sh!t if i may say so :D really clean vector (didn't expect ne less) and the colors are well chosen. also the text is fine with me. i think you know how i feel about this from irc already so :>

I think this wallpaper fits the series best out of all the others I see here. It displays that jazzy retro style the series has. I feel its achieved with the color scheme and the vertical bars.
retro...? (I couldn't think of a better word. lol. but I'm sure you know what I ment.) :P
