This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Wow. This is the longest time it's ever taken me to do a wallpaper. The touchup on the original picture was unreal, and I hope to never have to deal with that ever again.
I'm quite happy with how it turned out in the long run though.

More sizes will be up on my website soon, once it gets up and we get a new layout.
EDIT: Earned enough "Would look better with a clearer image to merit a good fixing. Should be cleaner now. Shading is more gradual and less chopy, there isn't as much pixelation.
I really like the image, colour, and the lighting, but I would suggest using a slightly clearer/sharper figure to contrast the overall softness of the wallpaper. Very nice.
Love the wall's beauty. I agree that it would be nice if the image was clearer. Love the serenity of the wallpaper though. I look forward to more of your work. Thanks for sharing.
It's a really nice wall. I love its color and simplicity, and especially the lighting, but I agree with the others where it should be cleaned up. ^^ Nice work!
Nice wall! i really like the simplicity since it contrasts with the series non-simple plot. but yeah, i think the clean up needed is minimal and the font on the bottom left is beautiful.
I think this picture isn't very cleary and light from the window not very clear.May me you can made the light shaper.Anyway thanks for sharing picture na ka ^-^

Great work! You put a lot of work into it and it really shows. You should be proud! It all blends together so niely. I like what you did with the font as well. Keep up the good work!
I really like simplistic walls, so I'm quite partial to this one. Only, there seems to be some weird, gray swirly thing on the back of his head. O.o; Maybe it's just my monitor...
The color and lighting is good~ of course image is good also.
when i look at the person, i wonder what catch his attention outside of window.
