This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
A second FMA wallpaper. This thing took me two nights. I wanted to have an Al with that funny look and I couldn't find any full size picture of him. And so it appears that I have one such image in my artbook with the sketch so I took it and redrew the rest of Al that was covered. You can probably tell which parts are redrawn. If you can't, all the better :P
Quite some time were spent on tweaking the lighting and the shadows, but finally it's done.
I think this wallpaper would've been better with a different stock of Ed. Seeing that stock in so many other wallpapers makes the stock in this setting look odd.
I do like the concept, and the pic of Al in the background.
I like the wall, and you did a good job with the background and the shadowing work. But I have one question. The lamp post (in the top left corner) has a shadow. How is this possible if it's producing light. And why is it producing light at all? I'd say, by the lighting of the area, it appears to be the middle of the day. And the image could have been cleaned up a bit too. I'd say other than that though, I like it.
Original. Its the first word that come to my lips when I see your work, witch is a very fun wallpaper of fullmetal alchemist. Just a thing : your glow effect is too visible :p
The glow effect was meant to be visible ^^ Well, perhaps too visible. It's supposed to be in the middle of a night, looks like I have failed for the time thinggy *sobs*
Well, the shadow of the post was added just for fun, you can imagine another lamp somewhere :P
Looks like they're trying to earn a few bucks with street entertainment, haha! Great, I love the idea.. I love what Alphonse is doing in the back too XD
So cute! i like the way you positioned the two characters with ed taking up most of the wallpaper and al taking up a little space to the side (with the cat of course =p) the brick wall looks simply lovely as a background.. both the color and the texture.
Wooow...Ed is great...he's my favourite character and in this wall he's very good...the image you used is very original and Al on the background is cute...the only thing i dislike is the color of the wall...however wonderful job
