This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Marcella, if you're older that's just the reaction you can expect from your parents. They think it's okay for a xx-year-old to do such things but a older person should know better. That doesn't mean they love you less ;)
MarceLLa if your older then thats just the way it is.if u've done nothing wrong to ake them hate you then y would they?if your older then they know you can handle the situation
It was very clear from what I said earlier. That is concrete proof that they love her more than they wil ever love me. Hopefully they won't coz thinking of that creeps me out.
Hmz...i know, another wall so soon...but i was working on this one first, and made a detour on fma. plus, i seem to come in spurts lol.
baisically, ive wanted to make an arjuna wall since i first started walling...but every single image i could find needed vectoring or re-cging. and since i have been struggling to increase my "talent" i had to wait like a year before i could even get started. hope other fans find this pleasing too.
so, i found a crap-tacular screen shot, and vectored it (badly), then revectored it cause it sucked SO much. the wings still kinda do, but i like the geometric shape. it's cool, and interesting like lol.
2nd vector ever, and done in photoshop too. also first thing made entirely with graphic tablet. took 18 years to do the coloring, and i had to redo it a lot...baisically this was one big learning experience for me. (no tutorials either, i really am trying to develope my own deal here)
used textures from DA!, but everything else was done with default photoshop brushes. i finally did it. i am no longer brush dependent. theres not even any sparkles...
Its nice...but the colors dont seem to match though...the bg color is dark, and dirty while the render is light and bright...the colors offset each other...
I like how you used the lines within your vector...nice job for your second vector ever :)
The background color and texture provides an interesting contrast, but because they contrast so much with the vector, the wall still feels a little empty
Maybe a change of colors as tai-mei-shu suggested or maybe a continuation of lines from the character into the background to provide connection?
The vector is really awesome, so great job on that!
The bg, though the colors seem a tad bit odd, is great and I love the textures you used. All in all, great job!
Woah... when I saw this I was like, "Earth Maiden Arjuna? no way!" I give you muchos kudos for just even attempting this wall!
so actual comments... the vector is amazing! it's nicely drawn and colored. and even though the wings are kind of weird, it works, and it looks pretty sweet in the end. the actual background is kind of weird... um I think it would be tons better if you gave it more meaning by putting some aspects of nature in the background. perhaps some outlines of bugs and plants, 'cuase right now it kind of just looks like mold or something (sorry for being so blunt...) no other comments, except that her eyes look very strange completely blue...
so this is being added to my faves, 'cause despite my nitpicky complaints, the wall is great! and It's arjuna, which is a great series with no walls, 'cause of the lack of cool images.

Congrats on succeeding in using all photoshop brushes XD I haven't seen this series, so... But the vector looks a bit strange proportionally; I think you might want to make a bit more of a distinction between where her arm and wings start 'cause right now she looks sort of disportional with a really broad back, so the perspective is sorta funky. The lines in her wing add a neat messy sort of touch... kinda an interesting contrast. And I guess I sort of agree with mooling about fixing up the background... maybe if the brushwork around the vector is more saturated?
Still a very interesting piece of work, as always :D
I think the vector work is pretty nice and I like the way the wings were done, I just think with such a beautiful vector the bg could of been a bit brighter to fit the nice coloring, maybe even just a sky, though always cliche would of worked a bit better. Still though this is nice work and you used with just default brushes, great job in the end for that~
Very nice wall . . . i like the character very much she is very cool . . . I like the colors and the effects on the background . . . i like the brown and the pruple :D . . . anyway, you have done a great job on this wall . . . thank you very much for sharing it. :D
I hope i see more of your work in the future.
You know what? I never really liked Arjuna and the artwork kind of squicked me... But I really like this wall, for some reason. You did a great job with the colors and the layout. IMHO, you took a character design that I personally found fugly and made a lovely piece of artwork from it. Good job.

Have a nice day!
If religion is that which binds men to one another, and irreligion that which sunders, then must I testify that I found the religion of my country in its musical genius and its irreligion in its churches and drawing rooms.
