As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

I was bored last night and so m quest for a scan to clean up began, I chose this one, and finished it a few hours ago. The main thing that attracted me to the scan was the apathetic expression on the guys face, i never really got around tow atching Wolf's Rain, so my knowledge is very limited. It was mainly a cleaning job followed by some textures from DA. I used a stock photo of clouds to reflect on the windows, which btw gave me life draining trouble, especially the right one, which I had to re-build using the left one. bah, simple stuff. enjoy.

P.S. will some mod please add the category "Kyoko Karasuma"? I've requested it 3 times in the past 3 weeks and even made a thread requesting some aid but it has yet to be added I suspect it may be something wrong on my side. =\

Personally, i'd lose the textures, or choose diferent ones. it almost feels like you kinda went..."filter -> noise -> add noise" on a layer and set it to overlay or something. it just makes teh scan seem low quality : /
since more or less thats all your eally did other than adding text it's all i really have to comment on >_>

i've added the gallery for you. it probably wasn't added because pretty much all the info on it is french, and theres no news on it on any of the sites i usually check (like ANN or animenfo)

Hm... the colors and textures are a bit overwhelming, and I don't really understand the concept... but it's alright. Nice.

This is exactly what I was getting mad at you about. Cleaning up a scan and slapping on some textures does not constitute originality. No matter how good you go about doing it.

Dramaticising the colors is a good start, but I'm getting tired of seeing cropped scans becoming wallpapers.

I like the colors that you added, but I do agree with Kalico about this particular texture... :3 I think you do need some sort of texture to add to the mood, but the one right now creates a way too messy and smoked look on my desktop overall, especially in some areas where I'd much rather see the cleaned and detailed image :)

It's beautiful, but yet it is kinda grainy.

i wish you would maybe bring it further out in creativity, just because you are talented enough. this is practically stock photo lol, but i hate to say most of my walls are the same.

i put it on my desktop, so i will add as fav.

The whole wallpaper gives us a mysterious atmosphere,and the color is fitting,the scan is good,but maybe the color is kinda overwhleming ,maybe you shoul lessen the thickness of the dark color,it is only my own opinion,I wish you would not mind

Woah. the lighting! I love the colors in it! they are blended into the wall so well. nice job framing the scan, so that it's so dark in and awesome. not much to say. +fave!

ANOTHER WOLF RAIN YAY!!!!!!!!1 WOO! I like it but Kiba is a lil hard to see with all of hte confusing colors... not bad though like the texture and colors... just 2 confusing!

The really don't like like grainy texture. Nevertheless, you did a pretty good job overall. The colors are well blended. Very creative.

Love, love, LOVE the colors! Reminds me of walking into a beautifully ornate cathedral and getting that feeling only the light streaming through stained glass can give you. Very nice!
