This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

New version

Bigger resolutions, new vector, newly re-painted background.

So I finally got my hands on that famous screen shot and the first idea was "why won't people just make a wall out of that?"

I really liked the original screen shot so I just recreated it. Both Ed and Envy were vectored in Adobe PhotoShop CS2, the background was both smudged and painted with my Trust tablet.

Ed is sexy ♥

1600x1280 is now available.

This is what i'm talking when i say a good wallpaper, but pride? i knew ed and envy were half brothers but that's not pride. but after all it's a good wallpaper, and an escene that was never seen before, at last for me...

Love the colour scheme. their clothes match the surrounding rocks. and the golden background suits their costumes, complexion and hair.

Well, you did a great job with the vectors ^^ i like the CG, it went beautiful. I could almost tell it was drawn by the author heh, congrats.

I was wondering why someone hadn`t made a wallpaper out of that screenshot also! You`ve done a wonderful job in recreating it.. It looks almost flawless! There`s something that`s not exactly the same as the original.. but it`s very minimal, and I can`t exactly say what it is. Great job!
