OK I completely failed at coming up with a good title. Anyway I'm sure you've seen this evolving in the Session Zero forum, but I've decided it's as good as finished. I'm happy with it this way, considering it's the first wall I've made in more than six months :P

It's a Pleinair scan from the scans section here.. sorry I forgot who uploaded it and am too tired to find out. Thanks to whoever it was. After seeing a slew of cool Disgaea walls on the site I wanted to make one too! I even tried to construct the entire thing myself, which I did using only stock photos as reference.. and the lantern >.> The rest is brushwork, textures and geometry. I decided to go for a simple exterior, just a tree modelled in the bonsai style. Then I limited the colour range so the red would stand out... didn't want anything else to look too prominent for consistency and visual impact. I'm happy with how it turned out, thanks to the suggestions and feedback from various members. You'll see I've not left any blood on Pleinair in the end. She's too graceful to get splashed with the bodily fluids of her massacred enemies :P

I'll let Crash and Tate know I'm still alive and shortly alternative resolutions, including widescreen, will be on the Fragments site :D

Tama-Neko pointed out something about the bonsai shadow.. I tweaked it so it's offset and more blurry. A little bit more realistic that way.
