This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
@Damo: Well when I click on it to sign it in, it takes a while to load and then a message appears saying "click troubleshoot and we'll repair the problem" Doesn't tell me what the problem is after.

...I hate this wall. It was tedious, it was filled with details, the colors were screwed up, I've never gone about a vector so stupidly (if you see the illustrator file you'll see what I mean), and above all it's a really normal (a.k.a. boring) wall. Gah!
I definitely would've happily let the half-finished WIP sank into the deep depths of my HD except for some reason that I still cannot fathom most people who saw the WIP didn't agree with me. >_> Too many people to list, but um... yah, you guys drove me. Hope you guys like this wall. Or you better like it rather, it took so freaking long. And it annoyed the hell out of me. T_T The vectors sucked, and the shading sucked even more >_> Gradient tool, polygonal lasso, pen tool, soft brush, hard brush, eraser... you name it, I used it *dies*
Dedicating this to two boys, Fuku Not the wall I meant to make you, but it looked like you actually liked this one T_T And it'll hold you over until I make the wall that I have planned, which will take a really long time T_T And also for nageni-kun, 'cause if you hadn't kept asking, I would've just let this wall die... T_T
Also apologies to tates and crap for being extra whiny this past day T_T And actually if you've read this description to here apologies to you as well, but this wall was just... pure ebilness... ebilness and pain...

Whoo I caught this one in time xD Now I got to ask where you got the idea that this is boring? cause it isnt >.> simple maybe but so not boring! Plus simple is good somtimes like in this case :O I got to say way to go on vectoring a CLAMP scan I dont think that has been done before or if it has I missed it either way this totally rocks! ^^ The only thing that bothers me is that I cant read the text so its kinda just distracting but other then that this OWNS xD Keep up the great work! +fav
It turned out just fine though i have to say i dont agree with anyone who wanted text on this, and personally i tihnk it would have been perfect without it. either way id say its some fine vector work. i like how the black seeps into the vector and i think it allows for a nice simple wall. the bg is simple but it doesnt make the wall too bland imo.

Haha your crazy this picture is great, i dont see anything that i wouldnt like in it, and its beter than i could do, and i bet if people tryed to do what you did they wouldnt even think if this, anyhow... so its a great idea and a great wall

Yay, a Tsubasa wallpaper!
This one is superb! I love the vector :: extremely clean and clear looking! I love how the cahracters are settled. They somehow contrast if you look closely. Eheh, three hot guys in one extremely excellent wallpaper, lol. Simplicity is always nice (well, most the time, this time being that time, hehe.) I myself enjoy simplicity, so this wall surely caught my attention. I envy your vectoring skills, lol The colors on this wallpaper are great as well!
And I must say, it is not boring. It's just simple, and I say that in a good way (because this wallpaper is simple is a good way.) Ack, must resist on rambling, heh.

Umm yeah, for all the ebilness, this is really all good~ (so lame I am sometimes). I like the way the text is positioned, course I can't read it without zooming in and squinting but it is aesthetically pleasing... Awesome vector work and the dark simple bg works well and doesn't detract from all the hard work you did on the vector. Really a great wall, nice job!

Very clean vector, as with other people the only thing I can see thats making me crazy is the text! I can't read it so its a little distracting XD *curse my eyesight* all in all a very nice wall, keep it up^^
