This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

finally, this wall is done. ever since i saw this scan(back in january or somptin), i knew i had to wall it. it's kyo and tohru in the sheets(outside perv), oh so cute.
too bad the manga scan was crap and super teensy. so i vectored it many times, painted it over and over (yes it is possible to screw up that much) until i was satisfied. then i added default shapes in photoshop for the flowers. i guess, for once, text is okay...it looks crappy that way on purpose lol.

kinda has a fairytale feeling to it. this is my fav couple of all time and my fav wall. enjoy.

This is amazing. I would never have realised it was Fruits Basket if it weren't for the text. It's full of rich dark, autumnal colours and gritty textures that makes it so far apart from how the series looks.

And yes, the pattern of leaves adds a very Brothers Grimm story-book feel to it. Such imagination & beauty in a world that's full of dark shadows, where two people can be lost in each other ^.^

This is an amazing wp, i just love the brush work. i'm with phoenix, i could just stare at the texture all day :) i really like how the characters are blended with the bg, just beautiful.

Textures, colors love... :D Kyo and Tohru in sheets? Hotness xD (Although I'm a Yuki fan >xD) And the funky font is cool!

I think the only thing I can suggest is trace the outlines instead of stroking so you get a more interesting/refined look of outlines with varying widths... which I think will add to the fairy-tale feeling :3

Wow this is beautiful...I'm a huge Fruits Basket fan and I no that there are not to many walls out there from it...you did a wonderful job on this...it's has a really sexy feel to it but also has it's sweet side...the vectoring that you did is amazing...color ...texture... everything molds so well together...but I will say that I was a bit throw off by the title lol...kind of odd but I like the abstract feel to it^^ ...thanks for shareing it A++ and a Fav (*^_^*)

This really does deserve a lot more attention than it was given, it is a pieace which beautifully shows your proficient use of textures. Although the part where the male character is cut off and the title seem a little off, its a worth a fave.

I agree with MinstrelKnight, that it seems off where Kyo is cut off. It looks cool, but it really doesn't flow from the image, which you so nicely vectored. The image is beautiful, so are the colors. The textures are great two. It's just that unflowing suddenly cut off area by Kyo and the shapes that doesn't work for me. They really contradict my idea of flowing soft feeling of sheets. The aspects of the wall are marvelous! they just don't go together for me on this wall.

Really nice wallpaper! Just like your previous FMA wallpaper, really nice background with unique style and colours. Simply beautiful. And the placement of the characters, really nice, seems the background is covering them, it's usually the other way, I like that. And the text that's put on the background, well-blended with the background and the rotation of it makes it very unique. Really nice wallpaper!
