This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
SUPRISE! :P. Yeah i kept this a secret for most people but I decided to make a project on this specific anime. This is dedicated to a very special person named Ayasal hope you like it :). I dont really know why but this anime really has alot of potential so I have a project for it :P. Next, im thinking of Sakura or someone else...maybe Rin ;). Anyway this took about a weeks time almost 100 layers in here with all the detail. Again some parts of this wall had some photo manipulation. Like the city some snapshots of lights and so forth. The clouds took about an hour. I really enjoyed taking my time and not rushing things because now, Im understanding that if you rush you dont see enough of your own peice to really appreciate it. So on and so forth the best part of this wall was the small Galleon you see near Shirou. Took about 10 minutes as well as the waves...a few filters and the sharpen tool to get things on track. The city well, lets just say it was a little frustrating to get it right but you know...perspective is kind of a pain to accomplish. Same with the stone wall. That was supposed to be an edge of a cliff but how it ended up I dont know I just experimented on that, it doesnt look as real as I wanted it to be but sometimes realism can cause problems with what your trying to accomplish. Appologies for that. As for the sword...dont ask... It looks good to me. If you think its a problem tell me because Ill remove it. I just want to see what you guys think. Other than this look for some other things I added as well for your pleasure :). Cheers for now Im off to do some Algebra and Triginominals with Pythagorean Theorems :P.

This wall is one of those walls that makes me just want to delete every last one of my icons because I just don't want them to take away from this piece.

I really cant say something what you dont know.. its really good work done here on this wall. love especially the evening (sundown) atmosphere (silent) in it.
A really nice wallpaper I've always liked sunsets and this is no exception, especially combined with the anime feel.
The only MINOR problem with it is that Shirou seems to be shadowed a bit too much to the extent that you can't really tell it's Shirou at all as opposed to just a shadowed anime character. But then again, I think that just adds to the fact that it emphasizes the sunset rather then filling up a majority of the screen with a character's face. So a great job overall.
This is a really good one! It has the same feel like the shot of Shiro from the opening, yet it also has the added affect of the city I really like the feel the wallpaper has altogether, and the execution is great as all of your wallpapers are. I really admire your work, you always make your wallpapers feel in a certain way, I can't even describe it! Anyway, I am babbling! Great great wallpaper!
