As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
Well, this one came out differently then expected. After vectoring Haruko, I played around with some shapes and lines, adding patterns to give it a new sort of look. The dark, pastel colors seemed to be working well, so I went with that idea. Since she has a key in her hand, I wanted to incorperate her scooter in some way, thus the background image. (I used a filter to get the 'drawn' look.) The text gave it a sort of 'retro' feel, which I felt turned out pretty well. The words are lines from the ending theme, ones that sound a bit strange. Haruko is pretty strange herself, so I felt it was only fitting. ^_^
I pretty much like everything you did with this wall! Haruka's face looks a little awkward, but everything overall looks great! Nice textures and lines. The dark colors look fine as well! Nice work and fave+
OOHAHhao how very cute i like the texture and the volors are very nove looking too.!, i like the bic on the bg and the blues and other colored thinigs on the bg are very coool, i also like the idea of putting the character in that kind of position and hte efects are very nice!, i will add this wallpaper to my favs!!

This really looks like an official wallpaper from the gainax people thats how good it looks...the pastel color shceme really works and fits well with Haruko...and ading the lineart of her scooter really adds a touch that compliments this wallpaper.
This isn't normally my type of wall, but this can easily change that. :D a couple of things I must have to say is great vector of Haruko and I love the texture. Kudos! :D
This is really neat! I love the way that you used texture effects to make Haruko and the background look of a piece, even though Haruko is still striking enough to really stand out in contrast to everything else.
Nice name choice its in "ride on shooting star" but your backround is a little odd it gives a rural feel to it if you put neon green or something like that it would give a more metropolitan feel to it
