As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
Hagi is the coolest person ever. I think is amazing how he's so loyal to Saya and is willing to go to any lengths for her. So this wall is kind of symbolic of this loyalty. He'll travel as far as she needs to and go anywhere she goes even though there is a chance he might lose his life. XD I like his cello too.
So I took about a week vectoring Hagi, and another 2 weeks coming up with the background after finding this awesome scan: http://www.animepaper.net/gallery/scans/Kumo-no-Mukou-Yakusoku-no-Basho/item38280/ . The first background I had didn't work out, so i decided to redo the whole background, which was about 3 weeks later. I didn't make a whole lot of changes becaused I really liked this scan. Just added a few textures in sky, some fog, moon, and some other little things to give a whistful-sad type mood. Hagi always looks sad.. T_T
I think you did a great job - Hagi fits in perfectly with the background. It reminds me a lot of the Russian train scene.. just without the snow and chaos. XD The colors are very calm which, in turn, compliments the mood you were going for. Nice one!
Wow, you really made an amazing wp! :) the clouds look so neat, the whole perspective is cool. i really like that this is a night scene and the vector is nice. great job!
Well seeing as the vector doesn't display much effort and the whole wall is just a "paste the character on background" piece..I can't give you much credit.
Heh Beyond The Clouds - Kumou No Moku Yakusoku No Basho background seen with another anime character ... can't believe it! It's a sin!

This wallpaper is nicely done, with a lethal and dark theme. This wallpaper makes me feel a lor of emotions and and feelings. It really capture my attention. The skies shows goog texture and shading. The railroad tracks looked so realistic and clean. It seems as if this a real wallpaper. Nicely done extraction of the scan of the character. The character unifies together with the background which causes this wallpaper is focus more into blue than any other color. It expresses an emotion with a mixture of sorrow and patience. Keep up this work and effort, Jeisun!
The background and perspective is amazing. And Haji (or Hagi) has probably the coolest person ever, especially considering his lack of speaking in the series, or atleast of what I've seen thus far. XD
This wall is truly amazing. Besides loyalty is something that comes within the heart i also will travel or actually give my life for my master.. ok.. to the one i love. That's something you don't find in any person. I like a lot this wall, so you won a fav. from me. Good job with the background and with the vector.

I absolutely adore the background, the dark colors suit the mood perfectly. there are two things about this wall that are not quite to my taste, however. the first is the text - I don't really like the font and it looks a little out of place. the second is hagi's hair. it looks a little clumpy, for some reason. maybe the curves could be smoother? ^___^;;; in any case, good job. :D
