The amount of patience, hard work and an eye for quality is what defines this wallpaper. Character is painstakingly vectored off a real life toy image with references to screenshots. Despite the difficulty level, ~pvc24 still manages to nicely depict the image in anime fashion and yet able to find the mental strength to come up with a background composition that is both aptly fun and pleasant in atmosphere.
Hello there!I've been wondering, will i ever able to exprience the joy of playing Valkyrie Profile for the PSX? Will i ever be able touch the case?! OH HELL YES I WILL! Recently, Square announced not one, but two valkyrie profile in the works! Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, is basically a port for the psp. But improved visuals and other stuff. Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria is the second installment from the orignal valkyrie profile. It takes place before the orignal! For the playstation 2. Judging by the screenshots for the VK:Silmeria; it looks promising. Its time to hype Valkyrie Profile !

Lovely scan isnt it? lovely pose? Lovely art work eh? Hell yes.
I started out extracting the lenneth out. I slapped her into a black bg.
I cleaned her up just a bit, than copied the layer>Overlay>Median 5> Lower down the saturation.
For the first layer, i added a bluish light color on the background> Overlayed.
I went to some sites to get some nice brushes. I had some few abstract brushes in my deposial.
I carefully placed the abstracts around lenneth; by using the airbrush feature.
It looked good so far, but i didnt like how the BG resolutation. I was pondering if its right
to make a full screen resolutation? hell no, i made it wide screen size! Oh yeah!
I had to replace the air brush effects carefully. Than i went on and made some cloud/ mist effects around.
I made a new layer> added some abstract> Moved it on mid-top of lenneth> Soft light!
At lenneth left side, i added a cloud-like-effect to it. It looked a bit too empty, so i added a nice planet> Soft Light> Lowered down the saturation. Click on the first layer of lenneth, change the color so she can fit very well along with the bg it self. As you can see, behind lenneth; looks like a wing. All thanks to Shinta's tutorial that was up in imanimation I had fun fooling with the size of the wings; now i can remeber the proper steps by heart! I went back into the blue overlayed layer, played around with the Gradient Tool. Just to make the whole bg, with more variety colors of blue. Added a text to the wallpaper, but crapmonster suggested me to make it more complex. Because right now, it just look like a plain font placed on there.
So followed crapmonster advise; made the text more complex. Did some lightning effect on lenneth, from the bottom of the scan. Took me 1 week to get it right.
Now i hope you guys enjoy it. VALKYRIE PROFILE FTW!
This is beuatiful! i love lenneth i love the colors you choose but maybe you should overlay the effects or or.. hide them a lil bit more..but great work!

Wow, this is just sublime! The energy just sweeping around her, the fine depth of detailing, the texturing that seems to give it a somewhat classical distinction, it all looks so majestic and powerful. Very much showing Lenneth in a truly remarkable light. This is definitely a favorite.
This is one of the coolest wallpapers of VP i have seen, I rally like the color an effect in the background, Lenneth looks so cool to, very good job! I love this wallpaper ^^
Ohh this is really nice. It’s nice to see fan created walls for Valkyrie Profile, especially Lennith, my fav character. The game was great, and I hope Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria for the ps2 will be just as good or even better. It would be nice to see more walls of Valkyrie Profile, maybe more will be made when the next of the Valkyrie Profile games come out. I hope so because the graphics look really good from the screen shots I’ve been seeing. I really like the way you blended the image with the abstract brushings. My only prob is it’s a widescreen. Other than that this is a really good wall. :)
