This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I know this is an 'old' wallpaper that most likely a couple of people here already knows, but may I be damned if this didn't deserve to be highlighted. It's most likely one of the finest examples of tech/sci-fi wallpapers out there, as well as basically all of the stuff that SirBoingal0t has produced.
This is an example of real true skill and creativity, creating a whole tech environment from scratch, designing it, colouring it and adapting it so that scan and background become one. This what one can achieve with a bit of fantasy, dedication and determination. That's SirBoingal0t for you guys.

anyway....i remembered some of the comments...a long time ago....bout fixing the hair outline and whatnot....so I did.....then i realized......how crappy the scan was.......but then I remember ripping the scan off another wall lol.....so -_________-...I tried fixing it, but since idunno where the psd is.....I just fixed whatever I had......which is the jpg file from the site...blahrney!>_<
anyway...Ill probly be putting more old walls up......so my userpage wouldnt look so...........dead -_-
(plus....i need teh papers...nyahahaha >xD)
This paper is absolutely wonderful. It conveys such futuristic images. The pink hair, the clothes, the pose and, of course, the background. I just love it. Moreover, I love the how the character and background merge into only one thing, a piece of art. Keep working like this (please) and CONGRATULATIONS! :)

Isn't this an older wallie?Anyway I never commented on it...so ashame because of that.It is liek I saw a lot of great walls but never commented on them because I was too lazy and of course I missed a lot from AP.Anyway at the beginning I wasn't even experienced in commenting and I had that taste for natural or glowy walls but after seeing a few series more like sf and action type my taste became...how should I say...refined..I think it is the perfect word.And from time to tiem I really want to encourage the ones who are new at walling(I sure hope this summer that I will start too walling).
Anyway back to the wall...from the point of view of colours even in real life it is a perfect match between pink and grey so you realised a perfect background with nuances of grey.The background fits the chara and the fact that she is pink haired and dressed makes a greater impact^_^(it is like usually when you see red in a black background or something like that).
What can I say more your other two sbumissions seem also very interesting especially the one with the blonde girl that reminds me of one of my friends^_^!
Everything in this wall is... JUST GREAT! I love the concept, and the 3D like style. I wish I knew how to do that. :D

Nice piece of work, if you had not admitted to it I would have never known that the scan and the background were not one in the same. Keep up the good work and keep 'em coming.
One can only openly admit this wallpaper as being perhaps the greatest work to ever come in the times of the people here who submit wallpapers. Every little detail is intense, whole extraction is perfect, along with the design, oh the design (I must sound gay now), is absolutely one world "Godly" the entire tech, the whole thing. To think that you are no longer working on any walls as of late is really dissapointing, this work is made of win and God. I believe there hasn't been one who came close to your style.
