This is the first time I have ever seen someone take a soft shaded scan and turn it into a realist and detailed vector. (Late) HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY GIDEON! <3 emoticon

I'm really happy to have been one of the lucky people who got to know you better fairly recently. Apart from being one of my favorite wallers of all time (I get so inspired by you lol) you've been a really wonderful friend... Ahh, I love you. Marry me lol XD

Anyways about this wall... I started it yesterday and then vectored for almost... 10-11 hours straight today? Yes, I am insane. I thought of this as my redemption wall because my last couple of walls sucked, and the last one especially caused a ridiculous amount of pain and depression (for a wall)... getting to the point where I hated it so much that I couldn't use it afterwards really bothered me, and *buries it away in the depths of my external HD*... I realize that I stopped making walls for myself again, so I holed up for this one, and hope that this will also a personal reminder to not to forget some things... >D And, this is also a personal wall in that, as a college senior now and working through job interviews, etc. it's kind of scary to think about "real life in the real world"... wondering where to go from here?

I somehow got the inspiration for this entire wall when I saw this wall xD The style is also heavily inspired by j3concepts, who is absolute love!! He's another person who I wouldn't mind marrying, actually... his sexy vectors rock my desktop so >XD I also got inspiration from this wall, and also the recurring cityscape that crap uses in his walls... they look so damn nice all the time xD

Hot dood vectored from this scan, the rest of the objects referenced-vectored off stock photos from stock.xchng. That tree in particular... in the end I was going crazy with the pen tool, I don't think I've ever had this much fun in Illustrator before xD

Lastly much love to crap for being my quality check test subject for this wall xD

W00t! This wall is badass! Very unique, stylish, moody, & interesting! It's also diferent from the others. The strange places makes it much better & unique! The style is simple but makes an eye-catching feeling. The vectoring is also great! Awsome job! Definately +fav! Keep it up!

Its different and catered to individual taste

Well apart from the fact that most of your elements are really NOT original since I've just seen them in every damn wall these last 2 weeks or so- everything does look good :D
Nice composition, clean colors, awesome work on the dude vector (seriously) and I LOVE that tree. That part reminds me of Dalì lol. So yeah all in all this is probably your best wall yet n_n

This wall is very original! I love it! I did notice how the lines in some things weren't stright, but I still love it. It seems like you just threw something together by thinking of certain things, and I'd assume you did, but it's so cool. I like the upside down lamp post the post. Very nice. +Fav

It's just so, so SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL! It's eye-catching with it's very solid and comforting colours! When I first saw the thumb print it, I thought it was a wallpaper with simple colours, no flashy bright lights from all directions or any of the sort! But then I looked closer, and saw these colours that just made you wanna see it up close, colours that made a person feel tranquill inside. Well for me it certainly did!It's easy on the eyes with the soft colours, and has more meaning behind it just being a wall. The question I often think of, "Where do we go from here?" By we I'm meaning humanity, with after we die. I believe that there is a heaven! But it's fun to think of other crazy things! Just hope they aren't true! ^-^ I love this wallpaper to bits! Wonderful job <3 emoticon
