This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Yep, as I treat for you Gundam Seed Fans, people who have 1024x768 I designed a wall which only took 2 days to do. It was fun since usually Im always the person to do landscape work and does 1200x1600 wals >_<. Time to try something new yes? Well, what would Kiras Laptop Desktop look like? In my opinion he would have a buisness style layout with nothing much on the desktop other than ORB Messenger and the other basic programs on it. Always checking to see how well the computer is operating and then work on enhancing it. I added a little extra putting a sticky note for Kira that he has to meet up with Cagalli on ORB messenger to talk about his proposal to Lacus. I also added some conviency with the dock featurette. When your dock has gone you know Auto Hide is on or you just hid it manually, still though it was a nice idea. Anyway I also used tech brushes of all sorts and used them to make logos like ORB Systems and DESTINY 2300 which is the laptop kira is using. I also added the power bar with the color to determine how much power he has left. Then being how detailed I am I added the copyright at the bottom CE 73 which is the cosmic era of GS as a industry spoof. I will be working on 4 more of these.

List of all desktops I will do:
1. Kira (Complete)
2. Meer Campbell
3. Athrun Zala
4. Cagalli Yula Athha
5. Lacus Clyne

For now Im off, so catch you later and enjoy the fun of this desktop :P

NOTE: Wall is most suited for laptops.

That's awesome! i'm not really a gundam fan but i think the idea for this wallpaper is just too cool. love the techiness of it. lol, the sticky note was a nice touch ;)

Yeah, the idea is pretty sweet...a tiny bit of "unclearness" here and there, but i cant find much other than personal preferences to critisize...this is a cool wall...

id personally prefer a more "teched-up" look, and some more uniqueness could be added (ie not make it look so much like "our" desktops), but thats just me and i still think you did a great job :)

im really looking forward to the other walls

Wow...looks awesome, can't wait til the other 4 come out, i douns the use of blue really well done and you managed to incorporate a different "task manager" or in your wall's case computer status, i think it would be pretty cool if you maybe changed it up on your other walls, like perhaps on your athrun one, you could have the actual messenger contact list, or maybe just a "my computer" window opened, or maybe even the gundam OS program open >=) i think that'll look awesome, but just some suggestions, keep it up!

P.S. if possible can you make the resolution bigger for some of us 1200x1600 people XD...

That's really cool! I've never seen a wall like this!
I can't wait to see the Lacus one!! (I'm a big fan of her!)
Love the Tech brushes you used and everything else you used to create it! Though some of the stuff you can't even read...like it's kinda of in bad quality to me. But it's still good!

Hey, I am using it, I feel like a Godly boyband mecha driver already...
seriously cool idea, but rather weird, the concept is very unique, but here is my question...How come all that gundam technology and Kira is still relying on Bill gates? One would expect that his desktop is 10000 more times special of an OS lol.

I must say that your idea is striking. Nobody has made wallpaper like this before. But to my standpoint, there's something bothers me in the wallpaper: why is the BG of Kira's computer screen is himself since we all know that mobile suit monitor won't place a wide-screen self-picture like that in the pilot screen? But thats OK. It's a fav from, especially for the IDEA!

Very nice idea! Everything's very awesome, the details are great- my only complaint is the background, which has kira in it... kinda strange to be on his desktop. :P Other then that, everything's perfect. Good job!

I like the idea and the design is definitely unique
but for me, it just doesnt feel like a wallpaper
it seems strange to use this as a wallpaper
i give it 10/10 as a picture, thats a difficult one x_x
