This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I'm finally done! YAY! This is my first Bleach wallpaper that I've made. It features Rukia from this scan. I just vectored the image to make it a little clearer because it had a weird paper texture to it.
The idea for this wall came from a screen shot from the series that can be found here. It kept the basic idea of the screen shot so...it looks pretty similar. But I really like the perspective that the wall is on...even though it was really difficult to use. But I like the final result!
Thanks to the people who commented on my wall in SZ! And especially to trismugistus for personally helping me. I'm truly grateful <bow bow> And for the butterfly brushes that I used...the credt goes to Scully7491 at deviantART.
As for the title "Butterfly Dreams"...I feel as if I heard it somewhere else before. If I took it for someone's wallpaper...I'm REALLY SORRY! I didn't mean to. But I think that it fits the wall anyway.
As for how long it took me to complete this...I would say about five days with all the details, but it really only took two days really do.
I like the perspective of this wallpaper. But everything looks anime and fantasy styled so the butterflies really dont fit in with the image at all. And the overall image is kinda blurry, i think a clean cut vector would work best for this scene. The butterflies should not be stamped on, but hand-drawn would look more appealing and suiteable

I like it! The angle is great and I really like the colors, although it's a little strange that the entire image is redish and Rukia's shirt is the only blue in the picture, but that's just me, it doesn't really get in the way. The leaves are my favorite part!

I really love the concept behind this wallpaper. I find it a unique idea, and this is truly nice excecution. I really love everything about it; the warm tones, the chosen scenery, and just how it all comes to gether into a really nice wallpaper. Plus, I just adore Rukia. Instafave!

Well, hello hello... looks like you completed it while I wasn't looking! Was busy with RL for a couple of days.
Well, I like the idea of adding shadows for the bunch of leaves on the right; but somehow the angle of the shadow doesn't look quite correct, because it's dusk and the sun is low in the sky, the shadow shouldn't quite be so low, if you get my drift.
Other than that, it's a lovely wall; was a nice job since you posted it in SZ. Love the colors especially. Good work!
I have to love it. The combination of things you used. The colour, composition, and the effort! It's just so well done! Instant +fave! I can't praise it enough.
